Job Overview
Covenant Health is seeking an exceptional Cancer Care Specialist to join our team at Thompson Oncology Group in Oak Ridge, TN. As a key member of our medical staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and work closely with our nursing staff and clinical trials team to ensure excellent outcomes.

About the Role
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $250,000 - $300,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have a Medical degree (M.D.) with subspecialty training in Medical Oncology and be Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. A current Tennessee Medical License is also required.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in outpatient and inpatient settings for patients with cancer and disorders of the blood
- Work with office staff to ensure an effective delivery of care environment
- Participate in clinical trials approved at TCSC and engage in other research activities
- Maintain cordial and professional relations with referring physicians and provide timely reports
- Maintain full privileges at FSRMC and have privileges at other facilities determined by the Medical Director
- Undertake administrative duties within TCSC or FSRMC to facilitate fulfilling the TCSC mission

Qualifications
- Minimum Education: M.D. with subspecialty training in Medical Oncology required; training in Hematology desired
- Effective communication skills required, interacting effectively with medical specialists, primary care providers, and professional organizations
