Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles and equipment, including grain handling machinery and production machines.
  • Inspect and diagnose mechanical problems, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of equipment and vehicles to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure seamless operation of equipment and minimize disruptions to production.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in heavy-duty mechanics and equipment maintenance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade or vocational school certifications preferred.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in heavy-duty truck, industrial, or agricultural mechanics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to use diagnostic tools to analyze on-board computers and operating systems.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in industrial environments.
  • Class A CDL license and Class A Inspector Certification preferred.
Working Conditions

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with exposure to moving equipment, dusty, hot/humid, and cold conditions. The noise level requires the use of hearing protection, and work involves exposure to common wheat allergens.
