Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Oncology Nurse Specialist to join our team at Medstaffing Network. As a key member of our Hematology/Oncology care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support throughout the continuum of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our physician and APP teams to provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing chemotherapy and various other treatments.
  • Manage oncology patients in an ambulatory care setting, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans and coordinate services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest treatment options, clinical trials, and best practices in oncology care.
Requirements
  • Current unencumbered Oregon RN licensure required.
  • Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN), or Associate's Degree with one (1) additional year of nursing experience in an oncology clinical setting required.
  • One (1) year experience in an oncology clinical setting required.
  • Healthcare Provider BLS required.
  • OCN or equivalent certification required within three (3) years of hire.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
