Southcentral Foundation (SCF) is seeking a skilled Medical Radiologic Technologist to deliver essential diagnostic imaging services to our valued customer-owners.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Medical Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for:
  • Performing diagnostic radiology procedures with precision and care.
  • Ensuring patient safety and comfort during imaging processes.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Essential Qualifications:

  1. Must hold a Registered Technologist (RT) certification from the American Association of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  2. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory. Additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, ATLS, ALSO, and PALS may be required based on specialty.

Employee Health Compliance:

Adherence to our Employee Health Procedure is a prerequisite for employment with SCF. Candidates must agree to comply with all job-related health screenings and immunizations prior to starting work. For positions classified as Health Care Personnel (HCP), documentation of the following immunizations is required before commencing employment:
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella)
  • Varicella (Chicken Pox)
  • Hepatitis B
  • Influenza
  • T-dap (Tetanus - Diphtheria - Pertussis)
  • COVID-19 vaccination

Background Check Requirements:

The successful candidate must comply with SCF's Background Check Policy, which includes adherence to Alaska Barrier Crimes/Conditions and Background Checks regulations, the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act, the Crime Control Act of 1990, and the exclusion provisions of the Social Security Act.
