Police Officer

As a Police Officer with the City of Muskogee, you will play a vital role in maintaining public safety and enforcing laws and ordinances. Your primary responsibilities will include patrolling the city, responding to emergency calls, and investigating crimes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enforce laws and ordinances to maintain public safety
• Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance as needed
• Investigate crimes and gather evidence
• Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies to share information and resources
• Provide support to the community through educational programs and outreach efforts

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be at least 21 years old and no older than 45 years old
• Pass a written examination and physical agility test
• Meet Oklahoma Police Pension and Retirement System medical standards
• Pass all psychological examinations required by the Department
