Job Summary

The Toro Company is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for operating manual or power drive material handling equipment to move parts, finished goods, and miscellaneous items within the plant and to outside locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, store, and direct the distribution of all materials within the plant, including record maintenance and verification of counts in all controlled locations.
  • Operate the shredder/baler machine and any supporting equipment necessary.
  • Issue, direct, and store all parts in controlled locations and shop on instruction from supervisors.
  • Take physical inventory of parts by counting or weighing to verify counts of received and/or stored parts on hand with inventory control records.
  • Operate all material handling equipment in an orderly environment and safe manner, reporting operating deficiencies to Material Handling Supervisor.
Requirements
  • Chauffeur's license to operate outside tractors.
  • Familiarity with safety and operating load regulations.
  • Ability to exercise caution and care that the load is not damaged in transit.
