At SOS Healthcare Staffing, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional healthcare services and ensuring high standards of patient care.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Evaluates, plans, implements, supervises, and assesses patient care activities within the Endoscopy Unit. Aids physicians during both diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
Maintains the capability to competently and safely administer IV conscious sedation while anticipating and identifying potential complications and emergency scenarios, and initiating appropriate emergency protocols.
Reports to:
Provider, Nurse Coordinator, Clinical Nurse Manager
Supervises:
LPN, CNA, and Schedulers.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Degree from an accredited Nursing Program.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Experience in Med/Surgical Nursing
Preferred experience in Critical Care Nursing
LICENSE/
CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
BLS, ACLS
MT RN licensure.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/
ESSENTIAL ABILITIES:
Fundamental Nursing Principles and Procedures.
IV Administration Skills
Basic office and computer competencies.
