Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our team at Galaxy Technologies. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for creating quality products by developing and generating programs for CNC machinery.

Key Responsibilities
- Create and generate CNC programs for assigned jobs.
- Develop basic wire frame and surface geometry.
- Ensure quality standards by following jobs through on machines.
- Support other programmers on defined tasks under their instructions.
- Communicate job specifics with other departments and coworkers.
- Create DXF files for Waterjet.
- Check prints to model and examine statement of work.
- Properly file programs.
- Become familiar with the quality system requirements as they pertain to the department.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with knowledge of programming and machining or related experience.
- The ability to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management.
- The ability to interact positively and professionally with colleagues and customers.
- The ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints and procedure manuals.
- The ability to perform mathematical calculations and apply common sense understanding.
- The ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- The ability to operate computer software, including Microsoft Office products and CAM software.
What We Offer
