Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our team at Galaxy Technologies. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for creating quality products by developing and generating programs for CNC machinery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and generate CNC programs for assigned jobs.
  • Develop basic wire frame and surface geometry.
  • Ensure quality standards by following jobs through on machines.
  • Support other programmers on defined tasks under their instructions.
  • Communicate job specifics with other departments and coworkers.
  • Create DXF files for Waterjet.
  • Check prints to model and examine statement of work.
  • Properly file programs.
  • Become familiar with the quality system requirements as they pertain to the department.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with knowledge of programming and machining or related experience.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management.
  • The ability to interact positively and professionally with colleagues and customers.
  • The ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints and procedure manuals.
  • The ability to perform mathematical calculations and apply common sense understanding.
  • The ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • The ability to operate computer software, including Microsoft Office products and CAM software.

What We Offer
