Job Summary

AMSOIL INC. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at our distribution center in Itasca, Illinois. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in processing and shipping outbound orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pick and pack outbound shipments using a handheld scanning device, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our order fulfillment process.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, assisting with loading orders into customer vehicles and responding to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with inventory control procedures, including receiving, storing, and retrieving inventory as needed.
  • Perform daily computer work related to order processing and shipping systems, ensuring seamless integration with our operations.
  • Contribute to a clean and safe working environment by completing routine cleaning tasks and adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to learn and operate a forklift, with training provided on the job.
  • Ability to repetitively lift up to 70 pounds, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Forklift operation experience, with a strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
  • At least one year of warehouse experience, with a focus on order fulfillment and inventory control.
  • Experience using RF scanners or other barcode scanning systems, with a strong understanding of data entry and accuracy.
  • Customer service experience, with a focus on providing exceptional service and support to customers.
