Career Opportunities

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Care Specialist to join our team in Panama City, Florida. As a Surgical Care Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with our experienced team of surgeons and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Job Responsibilities

  • Obtain patient history and perform assessments via observation, interview, and examination
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies
  • Provide direct treatment and management of health conditions via referral to other healthcare providers or community resources
  • Counsel and educate patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options, and community resources
  • Document delivery of healthcare and nursing processes in accordance with specific specialty area standards and network nursing policy

Requirements

  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Florida Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or National Advanced Practice - Nurse Practitioner (NP) license required
  • Education: Master's degree of Nursing required

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $125,000 - $175,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
