Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team at Soliant. As a School Psychologist, you will play a critical role in supporting the academic and emotional well-being of students in a dynamic and fast-paced educational environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough psychoeducational assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths, challenges, and learning needs.
  • Develop and Implement IEPs and BIPs: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs) that meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Provide Counseling and Guidance: Offer counseling and guidance to students individually or in group settings to address social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
  • Facilitate Multidisciplinary Team Meetings: Facilitate and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress, interventions, and transition plans.
  • Design and Deliver Evidence-Based Interventions: Design and deliver evidence-based interventions to promote positive behavior, academic success, and overall well-being.
Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology: Possess a Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid License or Certification: Hold a valid license or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience Working as a School Psychologist: Have experience working as a School Psychologist, preferably in a similar educational setting.
  • Proficient in Conducting Psychoeducational Assessments: Be proficient in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting assessment results.
  • Sound Knowledge of Special Education Laws and Regulations: Possess a sound knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Strong Understanding of Behavioral Intervention Strategies: Have a strong understanding of various behavioral intervention strategies and positive behavior support systems.
  • Commitment to Confidentiality and Ethical Guidelines: Demonstrate a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
