Position Summary: Soliant is seeking a compassionate and proficient Communication Therapy Specialist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and swallowing disorders across a diverse patient demographic.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing challenges.
  • Develop and implement tailored therapy strategies that address the unique needs and goals of each individual.
  • Provide direct therapeutic services using established techniques and evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers, educators, and specialists, to promote holistic patient care.
  • Inform patients, families, and caregivers about communication and swallowing difficulties, along with strategies to improve these skills.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid license to practice as a Communication Therapy Specialist in the relevant state.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
  • Experience in educational settings is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) is advantageous but not essential.
