At Danos, we are seeking a skilled Mechanical Planner to join our team. As a Mechanical Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of jobs by planning and coordinating resources, job steps, access, lifting requirements, and materials.
Responsibilities:- Ensure each job plan has the correct resources, job steps, access, lifting requirements, and materials.
- Provide support during the execution of planned jobs if needed.
- Participate in reviews to receive feedback on plan quality.
- Coordinate material logistics and document quality assurance of material.
- 5+ years of SAP tool usage (Work Order, Requisition, & PO Creation)
- 5+ years of mechanical planning experience
- Advanced communication skills written & verbal
- Advanced Microsoft Office tool usage (Excel, Outlook, & Word)
- Ability to read and interpret drawings (P&ID, Isometric, Structural, & Electrical)
- Ability to create and interpret material takeoffs from drawings
- 5+ years of experience working in the industrial field (Downstream or Upstream)
- 5+ years of fieldcraft experience is strongly preferred along with multi-craft working knowledge (electrical, structural, instrumentation, & mechanical)
- Proven track record of working with multiple material vendors
- Ability to work in a 100% remote environment
