Job Title: Mechanical Planner

At Danos, we are seeking a skilled Mechanical Planner to join our team. As a Mechanical Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of jobs by planning and coordinating resources, job steps, access, lifting requirements, and materials.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure each job plan has the correct resources, job steps, access, lifting requirements, and materials.
  • Provide support during the execution of planned jobs if needed.
  • Participate in reviews to receive feedback on plan quality.
  • Coordinate material logistics and document quality assurance of material.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of SAP tool usage (Work Order, Requisition, & PO Creation)
  • 5+ years of mechanical planning experience
  • Advanced communication skills written & verbal
  • Advanced Microsoft Office tool usage (Excel, Outlook, & Word)
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings (P&ID, Isometric, Structural, & Electrical)
  • Ability to create and interpret material takeoffs from drawings
  • 5+ years of experience working in the industrial field (Downstream or Upstream)
  • 5+ years of fieldcraft experience is strongly preferred along with multi-craft working knowledge (electrical, structural, instrumentation, & mechanical)
  • Proven track record of working with multiple material vendors
  • Ability to work in a 100% remote environment
