About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Ascension All Saints Hospital. As a key member of our hospitalist team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our diverse patient population.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with physicians to provide individualized primary healthcare services
  • Diagnose and treat acute or chronic health conditions
  • Participate in different aspects of care, including admissions, cross-coverage, patient education, and communication with patient families and consultants
  • Provide direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services under the supervision of a physician
  • Obtain patient history and perform assessments, order and perform diagnostic procedures, and provide and document direct treatment and management of health conditions
  • Provide counseling and education to patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options, and community resources
  • Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations, and care

Requirements
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider, American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted; Physician Assistant credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board
  • Education: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program; Master's degree preferred
  • Work Experience: 1 year of experience preferred
