Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner

Providence Spokane Heart Institute at Sacred Heart Medical Center is seeking an experienced nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join its Advanced Heart Disease and Transplant Service team in Spokane. Key Responsibilities- Mix of inpatient and outpatient care with no surgical assist
- Schedule includes a 7-day inpatient rotation with inpatient call, plus 9 outpatient days per month
- Strong academic- and research-oriented practice
- Pre or post-graduate acute care experience is required
- 3 to 5 years of post-graduate nurse practitioner experience is preferred
- Cardiology, heart-failure, or transplant experience is preferred
- No state income tax in Washington state (federal income tax still applies)
- As a non-profit organization, Providence qualifies for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program
- Signing bonuses and relocation benefits available
- Compensation is between $127,217 and $170,204 per year
Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center and Childrens Hospital has 644 beds, a medical staff of more than 900 and a service area with a population around 1.5 million. Sacred Heart offers some of the Northwests most advanced services, including minimally invasive cardiac surgery procedures, robotic surgery and sophisticated diagnostic technologies.
