Key Responsibilities:
  • Screen patients before exams to ensure safety and accuracy
  • Prepare patients for PET/CT imaging procedures, explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Perform routine and advanced PET/CT imaging procedures, adjusting scan parameters as needed
  • Maintain accurate patient records and follow safety regulations to protect patients and colleagues
  • Assist with maintaining imaging protocol manuals and software upgrades
  • Perform quality control procedures on PET/CT equipment to ensure compliance with ACR and AOA guidelines
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Current certification in PET/CT imaging
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
