Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist

Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join their team in Putnam, Connecticut.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Computed Tomography Technologist to work in our 100-bed acute care facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computed tomography and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, imaging procedures, and results.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide the best possible care.
Requirements:
  • ARRT-CT certification or ability to obtain upon offer.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Ability to lift 50-100 pounds.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
