Job Overview

Join our team as a Pizza Artisan and embrace the art of pizza making.

As a valued team member, you will receive on-the-job training across various preparation and cooking stations at Zalat, enhancing your skills and earning potential.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a fast-paced environment while ensuring pizza excellence. On peak days, our Z Boxes produce up to 1,200 pizzas.
  • Work diligently in the kitchen, navigating around hot ovens and collaborating with fellow team members.
  • Be prepared for late-night shifts. We operate late into the night and during weekends and holidays (closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day).
  • Report directly to the shift leads and management team.

Job Requirements

No experience necessary.

At Zalat, you will gain hands-on experience, training in various kitchen roles while increasing your responsibilities and compensation.


Essential Duties:

  • Food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and expediting orders.
  • Engage in continuous training and personal development.
  • Maintain punctuality, respectfulness, and authenticity.
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs as needed throughout the shift; capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Create the Best Pizza in the Universe.
A food handler's certification is mandatory. If you do not possess one, we will cover the costs for your study and examination.
