Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team at Berry Global. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing production processes and documentation improvement projects aligned to OPEX. Your expertise will help us improve and streamline our WH components area, analyze and implement advanced manufacturing techniques, and work with engineering product development teams on design for manufacturability and testability.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement production processes and documentation improvement projects aligned to OPEX.
  • Improve and streamline WH components area (colorant, valves, liners and additives).
  • Analyze and implement advanced manufacturing techniques.
  • Work with engineering product development teams on design for manufacturability and testability.
  • Direct the preparation of process failure modes and effects analysis documents.
  • Develop processes for new production introductions into the manufacturing environment.
  • Organize and lead lean manufacturing and continuous improvement activities.
  • Review staffing designs and make recommendations to improve design, reduce cost, or increase production efficiency.
  • Determine engineering hours and project costs to provide project estimates used in the development of quotes.
  • Confer with management and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Industrial Engineer experience preferred.
  • Proficient with MS Office.
  • Root Cause Analysis.
