Senior Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at Virtual. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining lease schedules and month-end close, while also developing management financial reporting packages and supporting schedules for the annual financial statement audit.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review general ledger journal entries for month-end close
  • Oversee lease accounting schedules and ensure compliance with ASC 842
  • Develop and maintain management financial reporting packages
  • File sales tax returns and perform adjusting journal entries and AR reconciliations
  • Support schedules for the annual financial statement audit and perform ad hoc reporting and analyses
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives and maintain internal controls
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
  • 4+ years of accounting experience, with multi-entity or location experience a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • ASC 842 experience a significant plus
