CompensationTotal Compensation: $32.80-$49.20 per hour, tiered according to experience and competency.
Key ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for proficient Occupational Therapists who excel in:
- Conducting comprehensive occupational therapy assessments
- Providing individualized therapy sessions with a personal touch
- Offering guidance, training, and support to staff and parents on occupational therapy matters
- Contributing to the development of Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborating effectively with diverse teams to ensure consistent interventions
- Providing mentorship and supervision to occupational therapy students
This pivotal month of integration, growth, and learning will include:
- Orientation to organizational culture, values, policies, and administrative tasks
- Learning and Grow Culture: We expect that you're learning your new role and have wraparound support
- Training Sessions: Skill development and practice with tools, software, and evidence-based practices
- Case Reviews: Overview, discussion, and clinical coaching for current clients and interventions
- Team Integration: Introduction and regular check-ins with interdisciplinary teams
- Shadowing & Observation: Observing client sessions and mentor Occupational Therapists
- Feedback & Evaluation: Initial feedback sessions with supervisors on integration and performance
- Resource Familiarization: Access to materials, research, and in-house tools
- Center Culture: A warm welcome to a collaborative team and mission-driven culture
- Client Interaction: Handling caseloads, assessments, family guidance, and intervention plans
An ideal candidate will have:
- A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current licensed Occupational Therapist and registered with the American Occupational Therapy Association and licensed in applicable state
