**About the Role:**

As a Surgical Technician at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, you will play a vital role in preparing the operating room for a variety of surgeries. Your attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment will ensure that our patients receive the highest level of care.

**Responsibilities:**

* Prepare the operating room for assigned surgical procedures with proper instrumentation and sterilization
* Navigate the nuances of surgical procedures and surgeons you'll be supporting
* Adapt to the needs of emergency situations
* Provide clean-up and turnover of operating room to prepare for next patient

**Requirements:**

* High school diploma or GED
* Minimum of four (4) years clinical experience as a surgical technologist
* American Heart Association BLS

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Graduate of accredited surgical technologist program and certified as a surgical technologist plus two years clinical experience
