About the Role:

In the realm of national security, informed decision-making is paramount. As a Biological Threat Intelligence Analyst, you will leverage your analytical expertise to assist in discerning critical information that shapes governmental strategies. Your role will involve meticulous data interpretation and the generation of insightful reports and assessments that empower decision-makers with actionable intelligence.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your extensive knowledge of biological threats to assess and interpret the capabilities of foreign entities.
  • Engage with various data collection platforms to identify and analyze new sources of information.
  • Develop targeted queries and construct networks to uncover potential leads in biological research.
  • Act as a key resource for intelligence insights, particularly in high-pressure situations.
  • Enhance your skill set in strategic intelligence production and analytic methodologies.
  • Mentor and guide fellow analysts, fostering a collaborative environment for knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in open-source intelligence, collection management, or targeting in HUMINT, SIGINT, or MASINT.
  • Proficient in all-source analysis and familiar with the intelligence cycle.
  • Ability to analyze complex biological research and present findings effectively.
  • Possession of a TS/SCI clearance.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related Life Science field, or equivalent experience in biological research.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience in open-source intelligence or HUMINT targeting related to life sciences.
  • Familiarity with data science and quantitative analysis methodologies.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is advantageous.

Security Clearance:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for classified information access; a TS/SCI clearance is essential.
