Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of shipping and receiving, ensuring precision by verifying shipment contents against documentation and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Establish, execute, and refine safety and security measures for warehouse personnel, including conducting reviews after any incidents.
  • Perform quarterly assessments of shipping operations to gauge efficiency, safety, employee satisfaction, and productivity, presenting insights and suggestions to management.
  • Review work orders, invoices, and demand forecasts on a daily basis to determine shipping, storage, and delivery needs; utilize this data to propose staffing schedules and resource distribution.
  • Maintain client relationships by addressing inquiries, providing shipping updates, and resolving issues in a professional manner.
  • Employ shipping software (UPS, FedEx, DHL) and oversee customs procedures for international shipments.
  • Coordinate pickups and deliveries from various locations.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • Three to five years of experience in a logistics or shipping capacity, including both domestic and international exposure.
  • Proficient in shipping software (UPS, FedEx, DHL) and customs processes for international shipments.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to delegate tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and responsible.

Desirable:

  • Experience in a leadership or supervisory position.
  • Strong analytical skills and the capacity to implement creative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Work Environment: This is a full-time position.
