Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Bryten Real Estate Partners in Tucson, AZ. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance professionals, preparing schedules, coordinating work orders, and training team members. Your expertise in maintenance operations, including plumbing and electrical repairs, will be essential in ensuring that our properties are well-maintained and ready for occupancy.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of maintenance professionals, including preparation of schedules, coordination of work orders, and training team members.
  • Organize and prioritize service requests and repairs, ensuring timely completion and accurate recording of activities.
  • Oversee turnkey operations, including making vacant units rent-ready in a timely manner, performing various repairs, and managing quality of maintenance services.
  • Troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems, as well as minor electrical repairs.
  • Walk vacant units to determine make-ready needs, coordinating efforts with the maintenance team to ensure timely completion.
  • Complete grounds work, including picking up trash, sweeping, pressure washing, clearing, and cleaning dumpster areas, and maintaining landscape.
  • Provide 24-hour emergency maintenance service responses, including on-call duties as required.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with at least three years of experience in building and facility maintenance, including supervisory experience.
  • Licensing and trade certification in HVAC, Electrical Wiring, or Plumbing are highly desirable.
  • Ability to read and write in English at an intermediate level to read diagrams, meters, instructions, and write reports.
  • Ability to do basic math for measuring, etc.
  • Ability to prioritize and adhere to strict deadlines.
  • High level of integrity, with the ability to handle confidential resident information.
  • Proficiency in using computers for data entry, word processing, spreadsheets, or custom applications.
