Job Title: LPN - Women's Health

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Matrix Providers in Aurora, CO. As a LPN - Women's Health, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our military service members and their families.

Job Summary:

The LPN - Women's Health will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients in a women's health setting. This includes performing diagnostic procedures, administering medications, and providing individualized patient teaching on preventative healthcare and health maintenance.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to patients in a women's health setting
  • Perform diagnostic procedures, including preparing patients for examinations and treatments
  • Administer medications by various routes, including oral, sublingual, intramuscular, intradermal, subcutaneous, topical, dermal, and inhalation
  • Provide individualized patient teaching on preventative healthcare and health maintenance
  • Participate in in-services and continuing education programs
  • Establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships with co-workers, families, peers, and other health team members
  • Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and stored at the end of each work shift
  • Ensure preventive maintenance and routine cleaning are performed as directed
  • Ensure a safe work environment and employee safe work habits
Requirements:
  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a practical or vocational nurse
  • One year of practical or vocational nurse experience after graduation
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross Healthcare Provider Course
  • Graduation from a State Board of Nursing approved LPN/LVN training program and Graduation from an accredited community college, junior college, college, university, or vocational nursing program approved by the appropriate State agency and accredited by the Commission on Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA)
