Viceroy Hotel Group is seeking a skilled Turndown Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. As a Turndown Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service by ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide turndown service to designated rooms, including replacing linens, towels, and amenities
  • Clean and service assigned rooms in accordance with established standards and procedures
  • Transport turndown cleaning supplies, amenities, and linens to assigned guest rooms
  • Replace soiled bed sheets and turndown bed
  • Remove all dirty terry and replace with clean pair to designated layout
  • Place specified items in designated locations (turndown amenity/cards, IRD menu, bathrobe, TV remote control)
  • Set radio to designated station and volume
  • Close drapes
  • Set lighting to and thermostat to designated levels
  • Replace facial, toilet tissue, and bathroom amenities in correct amount and location
  • Update status of rooms cleaned and turned down

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent education preferred
  • 1 to 2 years previous experience in a similar position in a luxury hotel preferred
  • Ability to motivate and inspire others to work cooperatively to achieve a designated goal
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent Hotel data
  • Flexible schedule - willing and able to work shift duties that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical requirements: must be able to walk, stand, and exert well-placed mobility; must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch; must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
