We are seeking a skilled and dedicated rheumatologist to join our team at Opelousas General Health System. As a full-time rheumatologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our rheumatology department.
Employed Physician Incentives- Malpractice insurance is provided by the hospital.
- We offer a CME allowance of $4,000 per year.
- You will receive 30 days of paid time off, 5 days of extended illness time, and 5 CME days per year.
- Our retirement plan includes a 457b-tax deferred component, Social Security replacement (7.65% of your salary), and a hospital contribution of 5% of your salary into a retirement account.
- Health benefits are available starting the first of the month following your start date.
- This is an employed position with a community health system.
- Your clinic schedule will be Monday-Thursday, 8am-5pm, and Friday, 8am-12pm.
- No call is required.
- You will work in an outpatient infusion center.
- We offer telemedicine support.
- A nurse practitioner will be available to assist you.
- You will have adequate time off to spend with your family.
