The U.S. Army is seeking a skilled Aircraft Electrician to join our team. As an Aircraft Electrician, you will be responsible for supervising, inspecting, and performing maintenance on aircraft electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities- Electrical System Maintenance: Diagnose and repair malfunctions in electrical and electronic components, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of aircraft electrical systems.
- Facilities Management: Maintain facilities for the storage of flammable and hazardous materials, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Tool Maintenance: Use and maintain common and special tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Request Processing: Prepare and submit requests for turn-ins and repair parts, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Education: A GED or High School Diploma is required.
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Cardholder.
- Physical Standards: Must meet Army Height and Weight Standards.
As an Aircraft Electrician, you will undergo 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and 19 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, including on-the-job instruction. You will learn essential skills, including electrical theory, system maintenance, troubleshooting procedures, and soldiering skills.
