Position Overview:
As a vital member of VPNE's expanding transportation team, the Shuttle Transportation Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient transit of employees and clients from parking facilities to their designated locations. This role emphasizes exceptional service and safety, ensuring that the vehicle is maintained to meet company standards and reflects our brand positively.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Uphold safety protocols consistently while transporting personnel to their assigned destinations.
2. Ensure the vehicle complies with all safety regulations and is maintained according to the service schedule.
3. Adhere to all traffic laws and maintain appropriate speed limits.
4. Verify that all passengers are authorized to board the shuttle.
5. Maintain a reliable schedule to minimize delays.
6. Strive to provide each passenger with a positive experience, addressing any concerns promptly.
7. Embody the Exceptional Care philosophy in all interactions.

8. Communicate necessary information clearly and professionally to managers and passengers, whether in person or via the shuttle radio.


Qualifications:
Years of Experience: 6

Language Proficiency:
Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Educational Background:
High School Diploma or GED. Licenses required: Valid Driver's License. Certificates required: Current DOT Medical Clearance Card; DPU.

Certification Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods.
- Capability to walk short distances.
- Manual dexterity to operate a shuttle bus safely.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Willingness to maintain a positive demeanor during all customer interactions.
- Adherence to uniform standards while on duty.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Driving record must align with company standards.
- Capability to successfully complete the company driving assessment.
- Skill in building relationships with customers.
