Neurologist Opportunity

UPMC Altoona is seeking a skilled Neurologist to join our dynamic team of stroke neurologists, neuro-hospitalists, interventional neurologists, and neurosurgeons. As a general outpatient neurologist, you will have the opportunity to build and grow a subspecialty, work collaboratively with our neuro-intervention/stroke department, and have autonomy and decision-making with a supportive and collegial group.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in a mix of pathology, including movement disorders, headaches, epilepsy, stroke, cognitive disorders, neuro-muscular disorders, and sleep disorders.
- Work collaboratively with our neuro-intervention/stroke department to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Have autonomy and decision-making with a supportive and collegial group.
- $35K sign-on bonus plus relocation assistance.
- $3,500 CME allowance plus five days.
- Twenty days PTO plus seven holidays.
- Competitive base salary plus RVU bonus commensurate with experience.

UPMC Altoona is a 400-bed regional health care system providing care to residents of a six-county service area in central Pennsylvania. We are a level II trauma center, regional oncology center, and a Joint Commission-certified stroke center with 24/7 care and a renowned interventional Neurology program.
We provide comprehensive cardiology and cardiovascular surgery, behavioral health, and a vascular and wound care center. Our medical staff is comprised of approximately 400 primary care physicians and specialists.
