At Torc Robotics, we are seeking a highly skilled Safety Conductor Trainer/Auditor to join our team. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining proactive and preventative safety training and audit programs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver comprehensive safety training programs for our Safety Conductors, ensuring they meet industry benchmarks and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local government regulations and requirements.
- Collaborate with the Safety Conductor Program Manager to implement training and auditing programs, ensuring seamless execution and continuous improvement.
- Support safety officers in developing and implementing policies and procedures, as well as conducting audits and training.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a culture of safety within the organization, ensuring all employees and subcontractors adhere to OSHA and other relevant regulations.
- Disseminate and monitor company safety goals and benchmarks, ensuring continuous learning and improvement in safety performance.
- Serve as a conduit for safety concerns, fulfilling company safety goals and objectives, and delivering reporting on progress and opportunities.
- Experience providing safety training and initiatives, with a proven track record of developing and delivering effective training programs.
- Proficiency in computer software/hardware, including Microsoft Office products.
- Leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and influence those with limited safety experience.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience.
- Ability to travel to other locations in other states.
- Experience utilizing the Linux system and command line interface.
- Knowledge of transportation, logistics, Class 8 trucking, and/or autonomous vehicles.
