Job Title: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, including pre- and post-operative patients, and provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide bedside care for patients, including preparing and administering medications, changing dressings, and starting IVs.
  • Conduct patient assessments and prioritize data collection based on patients' immediate conditions or needs.
  • Document patient findings and provide education and support to patients' families.
  • Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plans as prescribed by physicians.
Requirements:
  • BLS certification
  • 2 years of recent acute care experience
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds and move or lift patients up to 50 pounds at times
