Job Summary

The Dishwasher/Utility Worker is a vital member of our kitchen team, responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen facilities, dining areas, and equipment to ensure a high level of hygiene and safety.
  • Operate dishwashing equipment and 3-compartment sinks to properly clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment.
  • Transport and store clean small wares to their proper storage place.
  • Dispose of wet garbage, trash, and cardboard boxes throughout the work shift.
  • Assist with proper storage of food and supply deliveries and break down and removal of resulting trash.
Requirements
  • High School education or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and rotating shifts.
  • Certified in safe food handling.
  • Good physical health and ability to perform assigned tasks.
Working Conditions

The Dishwasher/Utility Worker will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, standing and walking for extended periods. Must be able to lift 50 pounds to waist height and 40 pounds to shoulder height.
