We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at ResCare Community Living. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in various settings, including home health, hospice, and residential care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist nurses with basic care activities, such as dressing, grooming, and bathing patients
  • Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration rate
  • Provide simple or uncomplicated patient care, including administering medication as directed by a physician or nurse
  • Clean patient rooms and change bed linen
  • Transport patients and assist with toileting, oral care, and other personal needs

Requirements:

  • Minimum age requirement of 18 years
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Certification as a CNA or Home Health Care Aide in the state where you will provide care
  • Completion of a recognized home care aide training program or 6 months of recent experience as an aide
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform other physical demands of the role
