Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Elementary Education Specialist to join our team at Colton Joint Unified School District. The successful candidate will possess a valid clear multiple subject teaching credential authorizing service in a self-contained setting at the elementary level, including an authorization to teach English language learners.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality instruction to students in a self-contained elementary setting
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure student success
Requirements
  • Valid clear multiple subject teaching credential authorizing service in a self-contained setting at the elementary level
  • Authorization to teach English language learners
  • Minimum of five years of contracted elementary teaching experience
  • Strong knowledge of elementary curriculum and instructional strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
