Paraprofessional Assistant

Gadsden County Public Schools is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Educational Paraprofessional to join our team. As a key member of our educational support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our students.

• Assist teachers and other educational staff in the implementation of instructional programs and activities.
• Provide support to students with diverse needs, including those with disabilities and English language learners.
• Perform various clerical and administrative tasks, such as data entry and record-keeping.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, teachers, and other school staff.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; high school diploma with a 2.0 GPA or higher and passing Parapro Test or AA acceptable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic English and mathematics skills.
• Ability to perform tasks that require physical stamina and attention to detail.

• Experience working in an educational setting.
• Knowledge of instructional strategies and techniques.
• Ability to work with students and adults in a positive and supportive manner.
