Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at VDart. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data science and be able to design, develop, and implement advanced data analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop strategic recommendations for data-driven decision making
- Design and develop complex data models, algorithms, and predictive models using machine learning techniques
- Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategy
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve data science capabilities
- 3+ years of experience in data science or a related field (research or consulting experience is a plus)
- A bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or Mathematics) - An advanced degree in a quantitative field is preferred and will be accepted in lieu of 2 years of experience
- Proficiency in SQL and any one other programming language (e.g., R, Python, C++, Minitab, SAS, Matlab, VBA - knowledge of optimization engines such as CPLEX or Gurobi is a plus)
- Experience in machine learning methods (e.g. multivariate regression, feature engineering, random forests, XGBoost, elastic nets, hierarchical bayesian regression, unsupervised learning, clustering/segmentation)
- A competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per year
