As a Registered Nurse in the MedSurg/ICU unit, you will be responsible for delivering direct and individualized nursing care to a diverse patient population ranging from neonatal to geriatric. You will work predominantly 12-hour shifts, three shifts per week, with the flexibility to work either day or night shifts, including every other weekend.
Key Responsibilities:- Patient Care: Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the MedSurg/ICU unit.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Patient Ratio: Manage a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio to ensure effective and personalized care.
- Shift Work: Must be able to work 7:00 am - 7:00 pm or 7:00 pm - 7:00 am shifts, including every other weekend.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program. Associate's degree or higher in Nursing (Required)
- Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nevada.
- Experience: Previous experience in a Medical-Surgical or ICU setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS certification required.
