Job Overview

USG Insurance Services, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Insurance Producer/Broker to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building relationships with retail insurance agents, soliciting new business, and marketing our services to the excess and surplus lines marketplace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a network of relationships with retail insurance agents and brokers to identify new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with our in-house binding and brokerage markets to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
  • Assess accounts and negotiate terms to secure coverage for our business enterprises
  • Handle accounts of all sizes through the life-cycle, including administrative workflows and customer service
  • Travel to conferences, seminars, and other educational activities to stay current on industry developments and trends
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in wholesale broker/MGA or carrier experience, with a focus on excess and surplus lines
  • Strong sales and communication skills, with the ability to establish new relationships and learn communication strategies
  • Energetic, self-motivated, and goal-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a team environment
  • Strong knowledge and experience of property and casualty insurance, including coverages, rating, terminology, and technical procedures
  • P&C License required, E&S License preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
