Role Summary

The primary responsibility of the Security Operations Specialist is to ensure the protection and safety of individuals and property within a designated healthcare facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting regular patrols of the premises to deter and identify potential security issues.
  • Responding to and managing emergency situations, including fire evacuations and conflict resolution.
  • Collaborating effectively with client representatives, customers, and team members to address inquiries.
  • Overseeing access control for staff, visitors, patients, and contractors.
  • Identifying and documenting Health & Safety concerns, providing first aid when necessary.
  • Maintaining accurate records, including incident reports and daily logs using digital systems.
  • Investigating incidents and preparing detailed reports, coordinating with law enforcement and other relevant parties as needed.

Work Schedule

This position requires coverage for shifts from Monday to Friday, 17:30-19:00, and Saturday from 09:30-16:30. Flexibility is essential to support team operations, with opportunities for additional hours.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

  • An SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license.
  • Exceptional customer service, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • The capacity to maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations.
  • Experience in a customer-facing environment, preferably within the security sector.

Personal Specifications:

  • A five-year verifiable background check.
  • Documentation proving eligibility to work in the UK, if applicable.
  • Strong command of the English language, both spoken and written.
  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Close Protection license.
  • Full, clean UK driving license.

Comprehensive training, uniform, and health and safety equipment will be provided.
