Position Title: Radiation Therapist
We are seeking a qualified Radiation Therapist to provide exceptional care at a healthcare institution. In this role, you will be tasked with delivering radiation therapy to patients diagnosed with cancer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute assigned responsibilities with precision
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
- Completion of high school with a Diploma, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy
- Membership in professional oncology Radiation Therapy associations and relevant certifications are preferred
Required Experience:
- Prior nursing experience in oncology is advantageous
- Approximately three to six months of relevant on-the-job experience is necessary
- BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment
Licensure:
- Must hold a valid Radiation Therapy license in the State of Indiana
Additional Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Capacity to deliver care suitable for patients across all age groups
Work Environment:
- Potential exposure to infectious diseases through patient interactions
- Exposure Control Level I
