Position Title: Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a qualified Radiation Therapist to provide exceptional care at a healthcare institution. In this role, you will be tasked with delivering radiation therapy to patients diagnosed with cancer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute assigned responsibilities with precision

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

  • Completion of high school with a Diploma, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy
  • Membership in professional oncology Radiation Therapy associations and relevant certifications are preferred

Required Experience:

  • Prior nursing experience in oncology is advantageous
  • Approximately three to six months of relevant on-the-job experience is necessary
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment

Licensure:

  • Must hold a valid Radiation Therapy license in the State of Indiana

Additional Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Capacity to deliver care suitable for patients across all age groups

Work Environment:

  • Potential exposure to infectious diseases through patient interactions
  • Exposure Control Level I
