Tus habilidades excepcionales en servicio al cliente brillarán mientras asistes en la entrega de comidas a los clientes en puntos de venta (como centros de comedor o cafeterías) y operarás la caja registradora. Tu atención al detalle será crucial para mantener registros, inventarios, encuestas y otros controles relevantes en todos los puntos de venta.

El Asociado de Servicio Culinario demostrará trabajo en equipo, colaborando para asegurar un almacenamiento adecuado y el funcionamiento de equipos en todas las áreas de servicio de alimentos, manteniendo altos estándares de sanidad y seguridad, y reportando cualquier condición insegura.

Responsabilidades

+ Cocinar, preparar y servir comidas nutritivas, seguras y sabrosas que promuevan la salud y la recuperación de los pacientes, sus familias y el personal.

+ Encargarse de la preparación y servicio de comidas para todos los pacientes, incluyendo dietas regulares, terapéuticas y modificadas por textura.

+ Preparar comidas para pacientes siguiendo recetas estandarizadas, directrices IDDSI y procedimientos de manejo seguro de alimentos.

+ Utilizar software de servicio de comidas para realizar pedidos dietéticos adecuados para los pacientes del hospital, considerando preferencias alimenticias, alérgenos y necesidades nutricionales.

+ Actuar de acuerdo con las políticas y procedimientos del Departamento de Servicios Nutricionales, códigos alimentarios estatales y la Comisión Conjunta de Acreditación de Organizaciones de Atención Médica.

+ Mantener un ambiente de cocina limpio, seguro, operativo y sanitario según los estándares del departamento.

+ Recoger bandejas y utensilios sucios de áreas de atención al paciente y puntos de venta.

+ Mantener todos los equipos y áreas de trabajo limpios y ordenados. Asegurar el suministro de bandejas, vajilla y cubiertos en los puntos de venta. Cargar, entregar y devolver carros de comida a todas las áreas de pacientes.

+ Preparar los puntos de venta con artículos de comida caliente y fría, así como bebidas, de acuerdo con las pautas establecidas.

+ Realizar tareas adicionales según se asignen.

Calificaciones

+ Se requiere diploma de secundaria o equivalente.

+ Certificación de Manipulador de Alimentos Servsafe requerida dentro de los 90 días posteriores a la contratación.

+ Capacidad para leer y escribir o seguir instrucciones orales y escritas.

+ Habilidad para comunicarse con compañeros de trabajo, supervisores y personal de gestión.

+ Debe aprobar el examen de salud requerido por el hospital.

+ Capacidad para levantar y transportar un mínimo de 25 libras.

+ Capacidad para estar de pie durante todo el día. Se requiere buena coordinación mano-ojo.

+ Capacidad para doblarse, agacharse, escalar en una escalera, y alcanzar por encima del nivel de los hombros.

+ Capacidad para agacharse, arrodillarse y mantener el equilibrio.

+ Capacidad para usar ambas manos simultáneamente.

Preferido:

+ Habilidad para navegar por sistemas informáticos.

+ Experiencia laboral en atención médica, escuelas o operaciones de servicios de alimentos comerciales.

+ De uno a tres años de experiencia en servicios de alimentos.

$19.43 /hora
