Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering fresh produce to restaurants, hotels, country clubs, schools, and institutions throughout Ohio, Central Pennsylvania, and Northern West Virginia.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver fresh produce to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Load and unload produce from trucks, ensuring accurate inventory and minimal damage
  • Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and other team members to ensure seamless operations
  • Meet or exceed productivity and safety standards, as well as maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
  • Valid CDL license with a clean driving record
  • At least 1 year of commercial driving experience (preferably with a produce distributor)
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds with no assistance
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly pay rate: $16.00/hour
  • Average annual earning range: $39,000 - $46,000
  • Performance bonuses available after 90 days of employment
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401K and paid company holidays and vacation
Equipment and Safety
  • Operate company-owned F550's up to 26' box trucks, equipped with automatic transmissions
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by company policies and DOT regulations
  • Participate in regular safety training and meetings to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards
