We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Radiology Technologist to join our team at Intermountain Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality medical imaging examinations are performed, while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities- Perform medical imaging examinations, including radiologic exams, under the direction of a physician.
- Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and preparation for exams.
- Utilize sterile technique when performing invasive procedures.
- Recognize emergent patient situations and respond quickly and appropriately.
- Thoroughly and accurately complete all required documentation, including time stamps and image storage.
- Coordinate patient care and communicate pertinent information to other patient care providers.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and safe environment for patients and staff.
- ARRT registration.
- Current Rad Tech license in state of practice (if working in Utah).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare providers.
- May be required to complete the Medical Assistant (MA) Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire and perform the function of an MA.
- IV certification.
- Carrying, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pushing/Pulling, Seeing, Speaking, Standing, Walking.
