Responsibilities:

  • Build trust and rapport with residents using a strengths-based approach and trauma-informed engagement practices.
  • Work collaboratively with site staff, partners, and volunteers to create a positive and supportive environment for residents.
  • Provide on-site resident supervision, crisis intervention, and behavioral redirection.
  • Maintain awareness of resident whereabouts and complete related documentation.
  • Engage and support residents in healthy participation in the life of the home, including education on independent living skills.
  • Model positive behavior, communication, and coping skills.
  • Work closely with the Case Manager and other professionals to track individualized goals for each resident.
  • Maintain accurate and timely case records, progress notes, and other required documentation.
  • Perform light janitorial work and maintain the safety and cleanliness of the home and facilities.
  • Support the coordination of on-site basic needs and regularly take supply inventory.
  • Prepare meals for residents and staff, and provide transportation for outings and client appointments.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • 6 months of similar work experience related to caring for vulnerable populations or attending classes at an accredited college.
  • Active and vital relationship with Jesus and a supportive faith community.
  • Reliable transportation, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
  • Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills, as well as professional verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Health and Human/Social Services or related field.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in Social Services with at-risk or vulnerable populations.
  • Knowledgeable about CSEC and complex trauma.
  • Familiarity with Tri-Cities agencies, law enforcement, and service providers.

Reports to: House Program Manager

Schedule: Nights (10-hour shifts)

Location: Based out of Mirror Ministries Esther's Home, rural Franklin County, Washington

Positions: Part Time, 30 hours/week, Thursday-Friday-Saturday, 10:30pm - 9:00am

Compensation: $19.00- $21.00 per hour
