Job Title: Certified Nurse Assistant

Base Rate: $21.00-$
Shifts: Hourly shifts with overtime paid after 8 hours, resulting in an average rate of $

Job Summary: As a Certified Nurse Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed nurse to provide patient care activities based on established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. You will be an active and enthusiastic member of the healthcare team, responsible for monitoring patient vitals, providing hygiene and comfort measures, and assisting with medical procedures. You will also contribute to department operations and communications, upholding the standards of AIDET patient communication.

Experience: At least six months of prior experience as a CNA in a hospital setting is preferred. You will need to demonstrate critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills, as well as the ability to read and comprehend written instructions, organize tasks, and follow verbal instructions. PC skills are also required.

Licensure/Certifications: CNA certification issued by the licensing/certifying board in the state of employment. BLS certification from AHA is required, as well as AB508 (Management of Assaultive Behavior, MAB) certification.

Skills & Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong ability to learn, synthesize, and make critical judgments, work independently, and prioritize patient and family needs. You will also need to collaborate with team members who are recognized leaders in healthcare.
