Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the University of Maryland Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve outstanding patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide independent care to patients, serving as a clinical resource for others and utilizing evidence-based practice to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to plan and coordinate care, addressing patient and family needs.
- Participate in the implementation of quality improvement initiatives, including the collection of data related to Nursing Sensitive Quality Indicators.
- Assist in the development and evaluation of the Relationship-Based Care model, suggesting methods for improvement.
The University of Maryland Medical Center is a 180-bed community teaching hospital located in the heart of Baltimore's cultural center. We are committed to providing exceptional patient care and advancing the field of medicine through education and research.
Requirements- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland or eligibility to practice due to Compact state agreements.
- BSN preferred.
- One year of nursing experience.
- Solid knowledge and clinical skills.
- Current CPR certification.
- Maintenance of 10 contact hours of education every two years.
