- Work closely with the Board of Directors to execute the museum's strategic plan and ensure alignment with the organization's mission and vision.
- Staff Development
- Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement among museum staff and volunteers.
- Marketing and Public Relations
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the museum and its programs, ensuring a strong online presence and engaging community outreach.
- Facility Management
- Oversee the maintenance and improvement of the museum's physical infrastructure, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for visitors.
- Evaluation and Assessment
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure the impact and effectiveness of museum programs and initiatives.
- Education
- 4-year College degree, preferably in business, education, museum studies, or a related field.
- Work Experience
- 10+ years in the education sector, preferably in early childhood education, with at least five years focused on the business administration side of education.
- Skills
- Demonstrates a history of success in grant writing and fundraising.
- Creates strategic business plans and designs successful marketing campaigns.
- Strong business organization skills, including creating and reviewing financial documents.
- Excellent communication skills, including both writing and public speaking.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft programs, QuickBooks, and other relevant software.
$75,000 per year, with a comprehensive benefits package.
