Coating Inspector

KTA-Tator, Inc. is a leading materials engineering firm, recognized for its expertise in corrosion protection and asset integrity. Our company offers a range of services, including coatings, steel, concrete fabrication, and building envelope inspection, evaluation, and testing.

We are seeking experienced Coating Inspectors (NACE Level 2) to join our team in the New York, New Jersey, and eastern Pennsylvania region. The ideal candidate will have:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• AMPP Certification as a Coatings Inspector (NACE Level 2)
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Excellent work ethic, communication, and decision-making skills
• Attention to detail and customer orientation
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel skills

Preferred qualifications include:

• 2-5 years of experience in bridge coatings inspection
• SSPC Lead Paint Removal (C3) certification
• Bridge Coatings Inspector (BCI) Level 1 or 2 certification

The successful candidate will be able to:

• Travel extensively and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Perform physical tasks, including climbing, bending, and working in confined spaces
